Questions & Objections

Answered briefly.

What reaches us most often — including the question of why this offer strikes many as exotic at first.

What exactly is a Mind Model?

A structured, machine-usable representation of your decision knowledge: heuristics, priority orders, edge cases, experience episodes — elicited in the daily serial dialogue (from 30 days), condensed with methods from expertise research, usable as a queryable counterpart and as a building block in your systems.

How much of my time does it take?

A few minutes a day, for 30 days (Basic tier; higher tiers correspondingly longer). One question, one answer — text or voice note, whenever it suits you. The actual work — structuring and modelling — happens on our side.

What does mindmodels cost?

Transparent and without asking back: The Probe €490 (7 days, initial findings, fully creditable), Tier I €12,500 (30 days, one model, complete handover), Tier II €39,000 (90 days, up to three domains), Tier III on request (guide value six figures). Operation & maintenance optional from €190 per month. For graduating classes and cohorts, volume prices per person apply (€1,190 from 25, €890 from 50, €690 from 200 people) plus a one-off €9,500 programme setup — see For Institutions. All prices net, plus VAT; details on Tiers & Prices.

What happens to my answers?

They are stored encrypted, used exclusively for your Mind Model and not passed on to third parties. Mandate-level confidentiality is part of the agreement — it applies without limit beyond the end of the engagement.

Does my knowledge train third-party AI models?

No — that is precisely what mindmodels protects against. Your answers are stored encrypted in the EU, used exclusively for your own Mind Model and passed neither to model providers nor to any other third party. While the large platforms harvest knowledge unasked, yours remains in your possession.

What economic value does a Mind Model create?

Three sources of return: first, avoided knowledge attrition — the loss of experience when key people leave counts among the most expensive unsolved problems of management. Second, ongoing benefit: your judgement becomes queryable for succession, advisory board and organisation without burdening your calendar. Third, intrinsic value: a structured, exclusively usable model is an intangible asset — transferable, licensable, inheritable.

Can I transfer, license or bequeath my Mind Model?

Yes — that is the core of asset protection. The contents of your Mind Model are your property and can be structured like other intangible assets: contributed to companies, transferred to successors, licensed through usage rights. The underlying method remains the intellectual property of Christopher Peterka.

Why a waiting list?

Because the method is deliberately kept small during the trial phase: few mandates, each personally led. Quality of proof cases before growth. The inventor reviews the applications himself. For an immediate start without review there is The Probe.

Who is behind mindmodels?

mindmodels is an invention of Christopher Peterka and is delivered by gannaca GmbH & Co. KG (Cologne) — the think tank that has advised decision-makers in mid-sized companies, foundations, governments and NGOs since 1996: more than 1,500 decision-makers in 55 countries.

How do I know gannaca delivers what it says here?

By public evidence you can check yourself: two TEDx talks (TEDxTehran 2017, TEDxKoenigsallee 2019 — more than 38,000 plays on TED.com), two books with renowned publishers (“Deine Wahl”, Murmann 2019; “Symphonie der Systeme”, 2025), stages such as the Handelsblatt Energy Summit, a publicly dated foresight tracker with verifiable predictions since 1996.

What stance guides the work — and what does it mean for me?

Three principles: first, the human decides — AI assists; every recommendation carries a name. Second, discretion is part of the product — mandate-level confidentiality, unlimited. Third, whoever talks about the future owes it something: Christopher Peterka leads every mandate personally.

What network does mindmodels sit in?

gannaca is the core of a supporting constellation: KP42 Advisory & Investment (holdings and intelligence services), WALLACE FUTURES (publisher for the age of intelligence) and the Mensch Zukunft Stiftung — complemented by project-based specialists for law, design and technology.

Why this feels exotic to you.

If this offer feels foreign, it is rarely the offer — and almost always six circumstances, especially pronounced in Germany and Europe:

  1. Media discourse runs years behind.

What newsrooms debate as the future today left the labs yesterday. Personalised knowledge models are technically the present — in public conversation they are still science fiction. That gap is not an argument against the matter; it is your window.

  2. Ageing societies defend the status quo.

A demography whose median voter approaches retirement rewards preserving the familiar — not preserving the valuable. The reflex “we don't need this” is incumbency protection, not judgement.

  3. Full-coverage mentality and over-regulation train hesitation.

Where every novelty is first read as a liability question, the imagination for opportunity atrophies. mindmodels answers the regulatory question soberly — EU data residency, clear contracts — and does not wait for others to stop hesitating.

  4. Digital competence is unevenly distributed.

A significant share of the German decision-maker generation has never had AI in their own hands — Germany ranks below the EU average in basic digital skills (European Commission, DESI). What one cannot operate, one takes for magic or fraud. Both are more comfortable than learning.

  5. Saturation feels like safety.

Three good decades have left a worldview in which one's own lead is assumed to be a state of nature. From that position, every precaution looks excessive — until, in hindsight, it wasn't.

  6. The offer is genuinely new.

Honestly: there has been no procedure that systematically retrieves implicit decision knowledge and turns it into one's own machine-usable model. New things feel exotic. The Svalbard vault felt exotic in 2008 — today nobody asks what it is for.

The method is not exotic. The head start is. → Request a mandate

Two ways in — one costs €490, the other a conversation.

The Probe is the small proof in seven days, fully credited towards Tier I. The mandate is the whole way: 30 days, one model, your property. For universities and organisations there is the Cohort Programme.
